Plugin Documentation

Below are the 4 sections of WP Link Net. The first image is the Menu. Each menu option is numbered so that it can be easily explained here.

1) This screen is the licensing screen. You must enter the license key you were provided when you purchased WP Link Net.

2) This is the keyword section. You must click “Add Keyword” to add keywords. These keywords will later be used for the anchor text link back to your site “your backlink.”
Every time you add a keyword you can add multiple URLs for that keyword. Be sure to only enter in one keyword in the keyword field. If you want multiple keywords
for different URLs then you will need to click “Add Keyword” again and add a new keyword.

So in other words if you are targeting “Blue Widgets” you would make “Blue Widgets” your keyword. You can add multiple URLs for that keyword. However if you also want to target “Dark Blue Widgets” you will need to click “Add Keyword” again to add that keyword. Again you can have multiple URLs for each keyword.

3) This is the feed screen. You use this option if you have comments closed or do not want comments on your other content. This option uses a category that is created at the time you install the plugin. This category is called “Syndicated.” You may rename this category if you wish but do not delete it and recreate it. If you do this is will cause issues for you.

This option just allows for excerpts from various feeds to be created into posts. So that the plugin has somewhere to comment if you have disabled comments on the rest of your blog.

4) This is the most important screen.

a) Number of auto posts per day (from feeds) should be set to at least 2
b) Hide syndicated category is used If you wish to hide the syndicated category from view on your blog. However this feature may be removed at a later date.
c) The site category option is so you can best pick a category that matches your blog the best. This is used to determine what type of comments are posted.

At this time only the “General” category is available.

d) The option for pages and posts to allow comments for should just be checked. It is the easiest way to handle commenting. This will allow the plugin to post comments on any available posts or pages that comments are enabled on. However if you don’t want to allow the plugin “free roam” of pages and posts you can select which pages and posts the plugin is allowed to comment on below this checkbox.
